The route includes Shap and Beattock banks, the upper Clyde valley, the West Highland line past Loch Lomand and over County March summit, and the West Highland Extension to Mallaig, including Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Saturday 26th Glasgow-Fort William, 61994; FortWilliam-Mallaig, 62005. Seen at Glen Falloch, approaching Crianlarich, Strath Fillan, Tyndrum, CountyMarch summit, Glen Finnan, Loch Eilt.

Sunday 27th Fort William-Glasgow, 61994; Glasgow-Preston, 5690. Seen at Horseshoe Curve, near Crianlarich, Ardlui, Craigendoran, Cardross, Abington, Crawford.
