Very short notice, but just in case anyone can get along this evening…
Three Pressed Men will do a spot at the Open Mic session at The Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot on Tues 10th March. The session happens in the café-bar and starts at 7:30pm. We expect to get about 15-20 mins, depending on how many other performers are around.

We did a concert in The Coach House, Headington in December 2011, which was videoed. The “Edited Highlights” have appeared on YouTube. Skip to 12:00 to see us performing Chippenham (one of Mark’s tunes), The Grey Funnel Line (by Cyril Tawney) and Paddy Lay Back (trad – this version apparently from Liverpool). Or play from the beginning to see Peter & The Wulf, The Sruiti Project, and Pete Joshua as well.
After our well-received floor spot last spring, the Wychwood Folk Club have given us an evening of our own, with support from Henry Bateman.
St Michael’s Church Action Group presents Three Pressed Men in concert, in aid of humanitarian aid charities, including MSF & CAFOD.
The Black Horse at Gozzards Ford, near Abingdon, is under new management (since Oct last year) and has been getting good reviews for its food and friendly atmosphere. Now they’re adding live music to the mix. They’ve programmed various different styles, including folk.
We’re expecting a fairly informal evening of tunes and songs, including some good choruses to join in with, starting about 8:30 pm.
